Find your designer and style. Check the product page for the designer, style number, fabric, stretch and fit notes.
Measure before choosing. Use a soft tape over the undergarments you plan to wear. Keep it level and comfortably snug: bust at the fullest point, natural waist, and hips at the fullest point. Divide centimetres by 2.54 to compare with the inch charts below.
Compare all three measurements. Use the correct designer chart. If your measurements span sizes, choose the size that accommodates the largest measurement; do not choose by your everyday size alone.
Check length and timing. Review the listed dress length, your height and planned heels. Allow time for a qualified formalwear tailor; alterations and delivery dates are not guaranteed.

For Lara styles: China-made and India-made styles use different charts. Use the chart specified for your exact style. “Imported” alone does not identify which chart applies. If it is unclear, seek confirmation before ordering rather than guessing.

Use the chart for the designer shown on the product page. Measure yourself before ordering. All measurements are body measurements in inches, not garment measurements.

Three-Step Size Selection

Measure bust, natural waist, and fullest hip over close-fitting clothing.
Find each measurement in the correct designer chart.
If measurements fall across sizes, choose the size matching your largest measurement. Formal gowns can be tailored down more easily than they can be let out.

Lara uses two charts because its China- and India-made styles are cut differently. Use the chart identified for the specific style. When between sizes, select the larger size.

How to Measure

Bust: Measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Waist: Measure around the natural waistline.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part, approximately 7–9 inches below the waist.
